Know the conversion threshold before you choose
An OPC must convert to a Private Limited Company once paid-up capital exceeds 50 lakh or average annual turnover exceeds 2 crore over three consecutive years. If you expect to cross either threshold quickly, or expect to raise investment, registering a Private Limited from the start avoids a forced conversion later.
